When Hetzner Cloud is the better choice
We would rather you picked the right host than picked us. There are jobs they do better, and these are them.
- You move very large volumes of traffic. Their 20 TB allowance is more generous than ours at the entry tiers.
- You need hourly billing. We bill monthly. If you create and destroy machines through the day, that is their model, not ours.
- You automate heavily. Their API, Terraform provider and snapshot tooling are mature and extensive. We are a smaller operation.
- You need several regions. They operate across Europe and the United States. We run one location, well.
- You are already on their cheaper legacy plans. If you hold a CX machine at the old pricing, keep it — you will not beat it.

Why is SnelBit cheaper than Hetzner Cloud for the same specs?
Hetzner Cloud raised its prices twice in 2026 and its lower-cost CX line has not been available to new orders since September. We run enterprise AMD hardware with ECC memory and RAID10 NVMe in a Finland datacenter and price against the market as it was, not as it now is.
Is the hardware comparable?
Both are KVM virtual machines on enterprise server hardware in the EU. We guarantee your RAM rather than overcommitting it, use ECC memory and RAID10 NVMe storage, and give every VPS a 1 Gbps port with DDoS protection.
How do I migrate from Hetzner Cloud?
Order the matching plan, and we will help you move. Most Linux migrations are a rsync of your data and a DNS change, and we will walk through it with you on a ticket at no charge. Your 30-day money-back period covers the whole move.
What about included traffic?
Hetzner Cloud includes 20 TB. Our plans include 2–20 TB depending on tier, so if you move serious volume their allowance is more generous. For most production websites, applications and databases, our allowance is well beyond what is actually used.
Do you bill hourly?
No. We bill monthly, with 10–20% off for longer terms. If you need to spin machines up and down by the hour, Hetzner Cloud is the better tool for that job.
